| Running Karaoke from a PC
| You need a drive that will read/burn (CD+G (aka CDG)) subchannel
info. I think the best way to test this out is to download (trial
version or buy) the software called: "Power CD+G Burner" from
www.powerkaraoke.com.
You can test ripping and burning. I appears that most new drives
have this ability. If you see "CD Text" as supported then "CD+G"
is probabaly suppported.

| You need software that will play/rip the files.
| Software will rip the files from the CD+G CD to your hard drive in the
format of MP3+G (there will be 2 files: .mp3 & .cdg) on your local
after ripping. Windows Explorer will only see 1 file with the
extension of ".CDA" which is the normal extension for CD Audio
files. |
| Roxio's Easy Media Creator v8 doesn't rip CD+G. |
