bulletTerminal Services Configuration
bulletMake these settings to allow software installs on a server via Terminal Services using Remote Desktop.  If the software install needs to reboot and then continue you will need to make the following changes.
bulletPrograms, Administrative Tools, Terminal Services Configuration, Server Settings
bulletDelete temporary folders on exit = NO
bulletUse temporary folders per session = NO
bulletSession Maintenance via DOS.
bulletMake sure you always "Logoff" the server.  If you kill the window the session will stay open.  As a default, Terminal Services allows 2 sessions.
bulletTo kill a session (Win 2000)
bulletGo to the DOS Prompt
bulletC:\> query session
bulletc:\> logoff <session #>
bulletSession Maintenance via Terminal Services Manager
bulletTo kill a session (Win 2000)
bulletStart, Programs, Administrative Tools, Terminal Services Manager.
bulletClick on the tab for "Users"
bulletRight click on a user and choose "Disconnect".
