 | Terminal Services Configuration
 | Make these settings to allow software installs on a server via
Terminal Services using Remote Desktop. If the software install
needs to reboot and then continue you will need to make the following
changes.
 | Programs, Administrative Tools, Terminal Services Configuration,
Server Settings
 | Delete temporary folders on exit = NO |
 | Use temporary folders per session = NO |

 | Session Maintenance via DOS.
 | Make sure you always "Logoff" the server. If you kill the
window the session will stay open. As a default, Terminal Services
allows 2 sessions. |
 | To kill a session (Win 2000)
 | Go to the DOS Prompt |
 | C:\> query session |
 | c:\> logoff <session #> |

 | Session Maintenance via Terminal Services Manager
 | To kill a session (Win 2000)
 | Start, Programs, Administrative Tools, Terminal Services
Manager. |
 | Click on the tab for "Users" |
 | Right click on a user and choose "Disconnect". |
